Are those purses? Of course not! They're hats! Except when they're guitars! When I picked up Nathan from school, he and his budddy Andrew were singing and dancing in their hats. I missed the part where the purses doubled as guitars.

Sunday Humor
This morning in church, just before Communion...
Nathan: Is it time for the snack?
Dad: It's not a snack, it's communion.
Nathan: I'm hungry. Can we have snack now.
Dad: It's not a snack. It's the Body of Christ, and the Blood of Christ...
Nathan: ... and it's a snack!
We could hear the rows behind us trying to stifle their giggles.
Luckily, our congregation loves children.

What's in a Name?
Last Sunday morning both kids were in bed with us just enjoying a good family snuggle. Nathan turned to me and said, "Mom, what should I call you?" I was a little confused so I asked him what he meant. He said, "Mathew's a Booboo Bear and I'm a Silly Goat, what's your name?" I asked him if he had a nickname for me. He thought about it for a few seconds, smiled and said, "I'm going to call you Silly Cow". Not wanting to be left out, Chris asked Nathan if he was going to get a nickname too. Nathan thought about it, giggled, and said, "You can be Stinky Horse".
