He's a Preschooler?

I can't believe how fast time flies. I now have a preschooler.

Nathan completed his transition from the toddler room to one of the preschool rooms last week. He's already testing boundaries... he was asked three times to sit down. The fourth time he said, "I'm going to tell my Dad on you!" I'm sure Ms. Kiehne has heard this before! Her response was, "What are you going to tell your Dad? That you are not being a good listener?" Nathan thought about it for a second then grinned and sat down. Score: Ms. Kiehne 1, Nathan 0.

[Update: One week later, Nathan was having trouble following directions. After being asked several times to use the number bars correctly, he said, "You call my Jenny!" Ms. Kiehne replied, "And what should I tell your mom when I call her?" Nathan grinned and said, "You call my Jenny and you tell her that I'm not listening". Score: Ms. Kiehne 1, Nathan 1]

Monday was his first official day in Ms. Kiehne's class. He loves being in the preschool room and is curious about absolutely everything in it... which means he feels the need to go around the room touching and picking up absolutely everything! Here's a pic of him outside the school on his first day, ready for mischief!
